  Outstanding afternoon tea

We had a outstanding afternoon tea here recently at the front if this historic hotel. We were family out for the first time since lockdown, all measures were in place and plenty of space between tables. Tasty sandwiches & cakes were enjoyed with the fantastic view of the seaside & esplanade. Staff were ever so helpful in every aspect. On site parking was a added bonus

  Incredible creme brulee

We booked dinner at the Coast Bar and Bistro, and were really impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The bread to start with was so tasty and warm, we wish there was more! However, it left space for a delicious beef madras, and the creme brulee was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. So rich and creamy. Would happily return!

A Coastal Gem with Unforgettable Flavours

We recently dined at Coast, and it was an experience to remember! Nestled right by the sea, this restaurant offers breathtaking views that set the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, with a warm and friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations.

Perfect for our needs, great food, lovely staff

I was staying at the Ommaroo with friends during the Jersey Festival of Words week. 2 of us arrived quite late after 10 hours on ferry and thought we might be too late for food. Immediately a dessert caught our attention on the menu 😃 and rather than a large main course (it was about 9pm) we opted for the vegetarian mezze starter and the continental meat platter which we shared - with a large glass of very good Malbec.

  Every course delicious!

Had wanted to try the meals at the Coast bar & Bistro for a long time as several friends mentioned it was a great place to dine. They were correct- we loved it! We dined as part of the tennerfest & every course was delicious. The right number of choices on the menu & something for everyone. Excellent value for money.

  Jersey Gem

Seafront, traditional hotel with comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Unusually, post lockdowns, now the rooms are serviced daily. A good buffet breakfast is provided with a choice of hot and cold dishes although there are no rolls or bread to accompany the cheese and ham on display. A minor gripe is the "wallpaper" paper music inflicted in both the restaurant and lounges. An excellent base from which to visit the island.

  Excellent stay

Just had a lovely overnight stay at the ommaroo Hotel in Jersey. Lovely room, great food and drinks and the staff are a real credit to the company. Would recommend the winter break deal that’s on at the moment.

Home from home only without the stress

The location is great so close to St. Helier but on the seafront. The staff are fantastic and that's everyone from the front of house to the behind the scenes. It's my home from home because that's how I'm made to feel, like part of the family. I cannot recommend it highly enough the comfort, food and everything you need to relax

We’re so happy after our stay at Ommaroo

The staff were simply amazing and could not do enough to help. The food was lovely. The buffet / carvery was stunning. We will 100% be back. We’ve stayed in many hotels in jersey over the years but the Ommaroo even gives hotels in a higher price bracket a run for their money. Thanks to all the lovely staff who made our holiday.
