In this blog, one of our Ommaroo team, our Front of House Manager, Ionela, shares five of her favourite things to do in Jersey — offering a little personal insight into the places and experiences she loves most on our beautiful island.

For more than 40 years, Bergerac has helped put Jersey firmly on the map, with John Nettles’ much-loved portrayal of detective Jim Bergerac showcasing the Island’s beaches, harbours, cliffs, country lanes and historic landmarks to millions of viewers. Now, with Damien Molony starring in the modern reimagining and the first two series filmed partly in Jersey, the third series currently filming on the island, Jersey’s long-standing connection with Bergerac looks set to continue.

There aren't many hotels in Jersey or even around the world that can say they've been welcoming guests for over a century. At the Ommaroo Hotel on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, we're incredibly proud to be one of them.
