Watch Jersey come to life! From local food and live music festivals to celebrations to mark Liberation Day and Jersey’s famous Battle of Flowers carnival, the Island is packed with vibrant events throughout the year.

Liberation Day

When: 9th May

Where: St Helier and various locations


Celebrated on May 9th each year, Liberation Day marks the Island’s freedom from five years of German occupation. Recognised as Jersey’s National Day and a public holiday, expect community events, a parade and a traditional re-enactment of the troop landing. The main celebrations take place in St Helier.

Havre des Pas Seaside Festival

When: 25th - 26th July
Where: St Helier

Head to Havre des Pas for Jersey’s largest community Beach Festival. Expect a full lineup of live music acts, street performers, creative workshops, family beach games and activities and more. Tickets are just £3 per day or £5 for the weekend. Children under ten go free.

Battle of Flowers

When: 14h - 15th August
Where: St Helier

Experience a carnival like no other! Every August, St Helier bursts into bloom with beautiful, floral-adorned floats, dancers, and musicians. There’s a main afternoon parade and an illuminated moonlight parade. The event is free to attend and takes place on the streets of St Helier.

Jersey International Air Display

When: 10th September
Where: St Aubin’s Bay

Eyes to the skies for one of Jersey’s most impressive annual events. The Jersey International Air Display is held at St Aubin’s Bay and features a free four-hour flying display of historic aircraft, vintage warbirds and fast jets. There’s also a food fair in the lower park.
