About Us

The Ommaroo is a family-run seaside hotel, celebrating over 100 years of warm and friendly service to locals and visitors alike. Our aim is simple: for guests to leave wanting to return again soon.

Situated on Jersey’s stunning southern shore, our Victorian Hotel first opened its doors to guests in 1916. Across 110 years, the Ommaroo has welcomed generations of visitors, from loyal returning guests and families celebrating milestones, to sports teams, corporate travellers and local residents, who regard it as the heart of Havre des Pas.

The Ommaroo offers 82 well-appointed bedrooms, two excellent restaurants, event and private dining rooms and a secluded enclosed garden. In the summer months, you can enjoy a dip in our outdoor pool and treat yourself to refreshments on the sea facing Terrace.

We’re just a ten-minute walk from the bustling town of St Helier, where you can explore the shops, restaurants and museums.

Whether you are staying at the Ommaroo for business or pleasure, or visiting us for a meal or a drink with a view, a warm Jersey welcome awaits you.
